FLORA & FAUNA

The Exhibition

One segment of the 4 part exhibitions exploring waterways in the Black Country – Wryley and Essington canal. Flowers and Plants are the main source of essential oils, aromatics and medicine. The aesthetic values of flowers and plants are highly valued. Without Flora and Fauna in our eco-systems, humans would not exist. In a symbiotic relationship, the oxygen that we breathe-in comes from Flora, and the carbon dioxide we exhale is vital for Flora. Fauna is a major source of human food. In Latin mythology, Flora & Fauna are goddesses, feminine energies and spirit of the forest and all lving things.
